The placement activity of PGDM, IMDR is completely a student driven initiative wherein through a democratic voting process students are elected into the Junior/ Senior Placement committee, from their respective batches at the start of each year. Dr. S P Kandalgaonkar, the placement committee chairman for PGDM, is a senior faculty member who overlooks the elected body's processes and activities. Through regular consultation with senior faculty members and alumni of the college, the committee prepares the guidelines and policies for each year's placement processes depending on the industry environment outside the system.

Placement Season

Based on pre-decided academic schedules, the placement season at IMDR starts in the last week of November.

Pre-Placement Presentation

The companies are requested to schedule their Pre Placement Talks (Ppt's) with the candidates atleast a week before the placement season. They are also requested to shortlist the resumes if applicable and convey the same to the placement committee in advance so that this would save the time during placement season and also streamline the process.
